King British White Spot Treatment 100ml

White spot is one of the most common and easy to treat parasitic problems affecting fish. The King british White spot control is an advanced fast acting formulation, which treats fish with external parasites, including: White spot, trichodina and Costla.

This product is suitable for use on both Tropical and coldwater fish, but not Marine.

As white spot is not visible to the naked eye in its swimming state or on the host of fish for the first 2 days, it is advisable for fish keepers to have this product on hand, so that when it becomes visible, the treatment can be used immediately.

White spot grows rapidly and appears as small pinhead sized spots on the body and fins of the fish. After 5-7 days the spots break up into smaller parasites and rapidly reinfect the fish. If left untreated fish quickly become sluggish, their fins will disintegrate and the fish will most likely die.

This product should be used on fish if they appear to have small pinhead sized white spots on their body and fins. Or if they begin to rub their bodies against objects in the aquarium. Or it should be used when new fish are introduced into the aquarium, as a precaution, in case the new fish are carrying diseases.
